hey everyone,
was jus wanting to know if anyone knows how well the stereo would go if i left the stock speakers in it sounds alright now jus wanna get a new head unit, amp n sub its got the 6cd head unit in it
my mate has a vy wagon n compared to my vy it goes way louder


and how hard is it to do it all yaself?? pretty easy??
not up for payin to get it done rather try it myself first

all i know is how to get the head unit out with abit of wire lol
would jus like to know about it before i go fiddiling around with it lol

I think you'll find you have no analog connections for an amp on your blaupunkt unit.
This will involve a high pass filter connection at your amp.
You would need to run all your speaker wires to the amp....messy.
If you wanna save the wiring trouble, best fit a MP3 player and start off using the factory wiring/speakers. Up grade later, slowly.
There are a couple of options available for filling in the gap below the audio unit and I believe a wiring patch harness is an option to make wiring up easier.

hey man, dont know if this is much help to ya but i have a mate who has a vx and he has updated his headunit and is running 4 subs in the boot and all stock speakers just running off the head unit, its a fold out pioneer dvd and i gotta say... IT SOUNDS LIKE ######!!!!

You need to update the speakers! the head unit can be the best in the world but the old speakers just cant keep up and same goes the other way around good speakers with old deck.
