hi all i have 99 vt 3.8 l, the car is very bad in gear1 and gear2 and the gear start to vibrate at 80km

there is no engine light came.

when i put my foot down nothing happens for a few seconds and the gearbox start to vibrate at 80km until the next shift and the RPM reach 4000 without any changed in the speed until i remove my foot soo the gear will shift to the next gear .

i found if in higher gears if i accelerate slowly she's ok but if i put my foot down to quickly she's not.

from a standing start she goes through the gears without problem when the engine is cold. but after that the gear will not shift until the RPM reach 3500 or 4000.


.ive got a hunch that it might be gear box cause of gear vibration and the engine sound is too high .any info would be greatly appreciated.


I forgot to mention that when the gear start to vibrate at 80km the rpm gets down to 1400

Yeah, sounds like Trans. Get a quote mate before it costs more.
