help.gif Please

I have a problem with the power windows in our VP 1992 Berlina , intermittently the window will not work (usually in the most inopertune times), we have taken it to an auto electrician and he has said bring it back when it doesnt work. Not the best answer sorry. He mentioned it may be the diode on the board, can someone please explain and is it a auto electrician issue or can i just buy replacement switches.

I also have a problem with the Air Conditioning. Everything works fine with the functions and coolness , but I keep getting a very high pitched nose , seems to be coming from under the dash. It happens more when you accelerate. Any ideas, thats another problem no one seems to be able to fix. cool.gif

Last Problem , I would like to change the speakers in the dash and back, it doesn't seem to be a hard task , can anyone give guidance with this also.

Do appreciate any advice. biggrin.gif

Electric window switches can be tested by back probing with a test light when faulting. It is possible the internal contacts are dirty.
The window motors them selves can fail but again with out replacing or testing while faulting...hard to tell.
Noise could possible be a bearing although I'm sure a mechanic could pick that one by now. Need more info on that one.
Those speaker covers lift out....speakers should unscrew. Try to use the existing wiring if you're not fussy.
