Hi All,
I have a noisy alternator bearing. Can this bearing be replaced or do you have to change the whole unit.
The alternator still works fine its just a bit noisy.
Any information will be great thanx. help.gif

if it is the alternator bearings, easiest way to check is take belt off and spin it and listen.unless your compitent in mechanical work it is far easier to just order a new change over alternator because i could bet my left door that the bushings, brushes and stator would need to replaced too.
