My xc combo has water under driver & passenger carpets (not coolant). I suspect its rain/road water getting thru the firewall. At the bottom of the double firewall there are 2 "scuppers" which I,ve cleaned out but still have the problem. It,s very difficult to pinpoint. If anyone has solved this problem or has some suggestions I would really appreciate some help.
Thanks Clintb

I don't recall the problem myself mate but I have some experience at finding leaks.
There is a possiblity of a leak higher up....A - pillar, front screen, door seals, B-pillar, etc.
If you were keen to fix you could remove the carpet, poor water over the car and watch for water entry.
I have seen an astra leak throught the door, over the scuff plate and onto the carpet.
Does it only happen when it rains? A/C have condensation drain tubes that can block up or fall off.
