help.gif CAN I REV MY 1995 V6 VS ECOTEC PAST 5 GRAND I GOT TOLD BY SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT YOU CAN BLOW UP THE ENGINE IF YOU DO AND CAN I DO A BURNOUT IN MY V6 VS ECOTEC WITH OUT ###### UP THE ENGINE THANK YOU CAN SUM1 PLEASE TELL ME IVE BEEN STUMPED ON THIS SINCE I GOT THE CAR THANK YOU CHEERS GUYS help.gif

hi there mate yeahh you can rev it past 5000 rpm and the engine wont blow up
and as far as burnouts go it wont f*** up the engine to mutch depends on how mutch u give it to the car
if your driving and u go more than 5000rpm thats fine nothing will happen
reving it on the spot should not really do ant thing as well drinks.gif

I think you'll find the rev limit to be around 5500rpm.
Fuel injection cuts out to prevnet further revs unless the ECU has been re-mapped.
